What an adventure!
Wow. The island’s sense of time is so laid-back….would kill me since I am so used to racing around and being in a hurry. But really, what I would expect. This must be an incredible experience being able to mingle this way with the locals.
Are you moving the limbs off your property, or where do you go with them? Is there a dirt floor in the garage, which allowed the tree to grow? Just wondering….seems like an awesome task, for sure. My husband and I are enjoying your excursion….can’t wait for the next day’s blog!
Hi Audrey! It is VERY laid back around here – I still haven’t’ quite adjusted to it … but I am trying!
I am dragging the limbs across the road to an open space to get them as far away from the house as possible to try and minimize the risk of termites … about 100 feet away. I am not sure about the floor in the garage, I will try to dig down some in there today to see – there is an old lawn mower in it that you can only see the top of so I am thinking that there is about 15 inches of ash in there. Thanks for keeping up with me over here!
